+ cichla are very hard to find over here.

I know. I don't think I'd ever find another pinima or kelberi.
Nine orino's ain't bad either for a uk cichla keeper.

I must say I really would love some asian arowana's. I'll see what happens.

I will keep the cichla, and make an aro & cichla tank. If u really gona make a 8x3x2. beside I think one aro in tank with cichla and rays looked better then many aros. IMO
I have a weried tank setup is a 6x2x2 with silver aro mono Pbass Pink GG Flagtail albino sailfin gibbset and abino walking catfish. With no problems at all. But ya is better to keep the cichla, and beside if you have nice ones is heart breaking to sell it.

I'd really like a pair of aro's, a pair of motoro and a group of nice cichla. It's getting two asian arowana to get on that is the hard bit.

Just weed some out.... I would probably start with the Tems. I'd keep the Kelberi and orinos though. Or if you can some how figure out a way get another tank. Tell your parents it would look nice in the living room..lol You would regret it if you sold most of them.

I have kept Arowanas and Peacock Bass together a couple of times. If your tank is tall enough you could probably keep Arowanas, some bass, and some stingrays together. Arowanas at the top foot, the bass in the midwater level and the rays at the bottom. I've kept Peacock Bass with Silver, Black and Jardini Arowanas in a 250 gallon (8" 2" 2") and a 360 gallon (8" 3" 2") with no problems. I have got a 12 inch Black Arowana with a 12 inch Temensis in my 360 gallon with no problems ever since I put them together (about 6 months now).
