Constipated Midevil

I've been soaking the pellets and it's been eating them but no change. Is it possible that it's gravid? I originally assumed it was fat with eggs because it did have a tube out for awhile. That was almost a month ago. It's still distended but hasn't gotten worse. Also there has been very little change in it's behavior.

What makes you say bloat? None of it's scales are out and behavior hasn't changed. -also from what I've read if it was bloat and the fish had it this bad for this long it would all ready be dead.
 
I thought my Flowerhorn fader had bloat. He would eat like crazy and stomach distended. But he's grown huge and is very thick fish. Never had an issues but I thought he had bloat for a while. Post some pics
 
Try treating with maracyn 1 and 2 at the same time, that should cure bacterial problems gram negative and positive...
You said in the first post he is bloated, if he still hasn't got better after salt and peas then I would try other solutions myself..
 
Shoot a video of what he's doing.

Check his fins if they've been nipped.

Sometimes the presence of too many little fish can stress big fish into illness then death if not fixed. Not saying that's why, but it is a fact it can happen.
 
I do have a lot of smaller fish giant danios and rainbow fish. My gravid/bloated or constipated hybrid is right up in it though. I wouldn't say it's stressed. It stays mid level, never hides and still eats well. It did have an egg tube out for a while. How long do they normally stay gravid? Could that cause constipation?
