Constructing a moss wall (background)

Never done this before but off the top of my head you would need.
Eggcrate
Zipties
Suction cups
Fishing line
Depending on tank alot of moss

You could use eggcrate, but if you can find something more rough it will definitely make it easier to get the moss attached. Otherwise, I don't know much. Should be cool though!

Will it work with 4 bulb 260 watt compact fluorescent? For the Co2 thing, I don't really wanna make one of those, will lots of fish make enough co2? I don't need it to thrive just to live and stay a vibrant green.

I have thought about this too, I think it would look cool. My guess is you would want to use a net of some kind. I think you would have to get the java moss to attach to it first. You could spread a bunch of java moss out flat in a tank and then put the net down on top of it. The moss will grow through the net towards the light, attaching itself in places. Once this happens you could turn the net over so it grows back through the other way, and repeat until the net is sufficiently mossy. Then take the net and attach it to the back of the tank. I've never tried this myself, but I think that could work.

What kind of moss would work? Off the top of my head, Christmas moss, java moss, flame moss, giant moss, stringy moss, erect moss, japan moss, taiwan moss, Singapore moss, weeping moss, willow moss, peacock moss... these are all aquatic mosses.
