Container/bins aged water

Not sure if we have chlormines in our water, i'm in florida.
I think on the safe side I'll just add some prime.

Call the Utilities company (who's in charge of the water treatment) and ask to speak to the Lab,, ask the person you talk to what their name is (this is important), then ask them what is put in the water.

If you are dealing with chlorine, you just need an air stone and you could do a heater, but it will not be necessary. If you are dealing with chloramines, you will need to chemically treat for that no matter what. Aging will not rid chloramines.

Would I still have to add prime or something like that to the water in the bin???

Do what doc Joe said and call the water company, then do what I said according to what they say.....
