Two weeks is deaf good.... sometimes I go a week without just so they will eat a lot when I do feed em... cichla are very picky and weird eaters imo

Never starve IMO… Good way to stunt the growth of your cichla. I have pellet trained over 35 cichla and won’t say I starved one doing it. Try feeding pellets / sticks everyday pay attention to who eats and who doesn’t, do this in three day increments and on the 3rd day feed the cichla who have refused to eat the pellets fresh raw pieces of small cut shrimp & or shiners from a bait shop to assure their getting food. Keep this up and eventually all the cuchla in your tank will associate you dropping food in the tank and the dive / competition for food that bass naturally have will kick in and they’ll smack and eat anything that hits the surface of the water in fear if they don’t they won’t eat.

Basically how I pellet trained all my bass, now some are defiantly harder / stubborn then others and I have had to step out of the norm and handle some differently and “baby” them into pellets I call it. But never starve, no need too.

PM me, I'd be happy to help you, I don't want to derail this thread.

Overfeeding is one of the main reasons for death, a lot less occur from underfeeding.

It's essential to establish a high nutrition diet while young to optimize growth, no matter how long it takes.

Still a no go! Fak!
That one kel that's eating is a hella pig and he eats the silversides stuffed with pellets. The others still ignore it. This Thursday makes 2 weeks. What should I do?

The others still seem healthy and a little skinny so I think they can go a couple more days. What do u think?
