Converting a return to drain???

Well herbie went wild!!!! We blew a connection off the return. I blame not gluing it on picture number 2. Lol o well I wanted the carpets cleaned. It was awesome tho, the system was running the full blown 2500gph before this happened.

Great job, I'm glad that herbie worked out for you. Another suggestion is to look into running filter socks in your sump. Very easy on the maintenance.

Thanks!!! I'm actually thinking of building a bigger sump. The one I have seems small for the level of filtration I want to achieve. But I'm definitely going to incorporate filter socks into the design of the new one. For now I found I had a big roll of 100 micron filter floss, I've got that around the base of the drains.
