Hello everyone I have a 75 gallon brackish tank with a salinity of about 1.010. I have an fx4 and a penguin biowheel 350 and an under gravel filter. I have 3 freshwater lion fish, one freshwater moray eel, and a columbian shark catfish. I know they like salt better or so I've been told. I have been having some nitrate issues and was wondering if I should convert to salt and how to do that safely without killing my bacteria.

my thought on converting to salt is I've heard its better for the fish in the long run and then I can add a skimmer and live rock to help the nitrate levels.

Before doing the full marine make.sure the toadfish and Moray species will thrive in full saltwater but agree I like the full marine idea with live rock.
