converting.

Well, I'm trying to convert my 2 Pbass off of live foods. I do feeder shrimp feeder shrimp.

the bigger Pbass has hit 2 peices of shrimp ( not on the same day ) and spits them back out, while the lil one goes to hit it than is like THATS NOT A FEEDER!!!

should i starve them for like 3-5 days than do the feeder shrimp feeder shrimp? or should i just stick to every other day feeding them?

try starving. i had 1 of my 2 peacock bass start accepting cut up shrimp in the same way. the fact that they take a bite then spit shows they have some sorta interest and its jus a matter of time before they realize its actually food n start accepting it. keep us posted.

Kk, I'm running out of feeders as it is lol i only have about 10 left. I will try and starve them till friday or something than see if they accept it.

i agree. although it may be tempting in a couple of days to give them just one feeder. DONT DO IT. good luck

yah, jus make sure you hold to it. don't give in cuz it will jus push them more to take nothing but feeders knowing if they jus wait, you might jus feel bad n throw more feeders in.

Hah, i had some people over yesterday and they wanted to see them eat and i was like egghh must starve them, they ended up tossing 2 feeders in!

How big are your cichla? Do they crush the top of the water when you feed live?
