And while you are at it, why don't you get 6 Dovii, maybe they will be less aggressive if there are more...

yeah man I was gonna say it but someone beat me to it. HRP are a totally different species. They look similar, but they have that name to differentiate them between the convict. They are something you could keep with like dwarf cichlids in a 30, but not a convict.
My con owned all my fish in my 75. He would bite their side and he was just relentless. Out of all the fish I housed with him in his lifetime (jack dempsey, severums, oscar, green terror, texas, nicaraguense) the only one that ever faught back was the nicaraguense. This resulted in one side of the tank with 4 fish with the nicaraguense, and the other half of the tank all to the convict.
He is in a 29 now in prison after he bit some scales off my gold oscar.
Basically cons are mean and don't put stuff with them unless they are fast and fend for themselves too.

My male con is in a 29 by himself after killing his last girlfriend, which was his longest yet. Wouldn't take anything from he, fought him back. I actually liked her.

And I had no idea the HRPs weren't convicts, they were labelled as such there.
I thought about getting a female, but I have no idea what I'd do with all the fry. I saw some real nice Gold rams but I have a feeling they won't last very long either
