So another question....could I keep a few discus in a 90 with 2 convict pairs?

i have a about 50-75 convict fry in a 10 gallon. They are just now starting to eat food bigger than powder and dust and you can see the eyes. I'm thinking about putting them in a 45 gallon long tank, how many do ya'll think i could get up to 2 inches in there?

discus with convicts??? I doubt it. Those discus wouldn't last a night if the convicts started breeding.

Yeah, chichlids are mean fish and they really only do well by themselves. Thats why I don't like them very much...

A 90 gallons foot print is 48"x18"

Discus and convicts won't mix, discus would get whaled on.

Discus are Cichlids

Convicts are easy to sex. Females will have a orangish coloration on thier adomin

Convicts will live and spawn in about anything with little to no effort.
