How many convicts have you had LTJD? I had on one occasion 7 pairs breeding in my old 100 gallon...and the females were 3-4 inches
None of these pics have a female in it. No female con will ever get over 2.5" had a 4 year old one that was barely 2"
Just because yours was shrimpy, doesn't mean they all are. Females are capable of reaching 5".
But everyone breeds them young, affecting their growth...

Dude i KNOW your new and all but I would only keep one pair of convicts and return the rest. Faster results my man less conpetition. Just wait and look at your LFS and pick a male with pointy fins and he will be larger then the rest and brightly colored. Also feed them black worm make one central hiding location and large water change ever two days. you will breed them in a month. Remember Just one terra cotta pot or cave. I was breeding these fish when I was 12. Beware you will have more babies than what you want. I hope you have something you want to feed them too.
looks male...maybe hes stressed cause mines turned excaly like how yours look when i moved him to a new tank
