Convict eggs have disappeared overnight?

If you have loaches/other fish in there the eggs are probably being eaten by them. I had this with my convicts, their previous owner said they never produced any fry, well he had a pleco in the tank with them that had been hoovering the eggs up every time, soon as I got them they produced a batch of fry within a couple of weeks.

Ok it’s def the loaches then. I have put another lot of eggs I found into a net box .
Might have to move some loaches !

I have been fooled before by a female who carefully hid wrigglers. I wouldn't be too surprised if in a day or two you see the original fry again. Then again, I definitely wouldn't put it past the loaches to eat the eggs; they love the things.
Good luck with the new eggs.
