if it were from lucky yes, it could be as far back as 2009, that could be my 2xFH x 1 convict, offspring, if its a female,
and from lucky it probably is shes very similiar to my oldest breeding female, and ive supplied lucky for years, posted pic of my female for comparrison, is it from lucky?Picture 258.jpg

the majority of females end up with this oddly shaped zz look, the KOK usually falls below the eyes also,
this very well could be ive mainly supplied FISH overall, ive check my records for FISH and i have over 11 batches sold to them
from 2009 to present, nothing sing june though of this year,

no, i got it from someone who said they got it from you. he even told me to email you to buy some flowerhorns for cheap. lol, the resemblance is uncanny on the 2 fish, the mouth is a bit different though. i like the shorter snout on your female.

very cool, the pic posted is more then likely the mother, i have to find my old pics of the male i used back then,
the majority of my females end up with this similiar KOK and lined markings around the eyes, I do end up
doing some craigslist over the years, mainly adults though, i cant specifically remember this female to be honest
too many have been sold now, but i do have pics of every fish ive ever sold, i could try to find her as a smaller
female, ill have to check, i have literally 1100 pics on this computer, im sure ill find here and post her original pics

Yeah my female was about 7 inches too. She ate like a pig too. Eating even more than oscars

Not that I noticed she didn't. She did have a strong underbite though. Did you keep any of her babies?

actually i never bred this female, i only sold her at around 4inches, i dont like the idea of a underbite, do you think you could post a pic of her mouth specifically?
Ive never noticed underbites, i have noticed the longer mouth though, that has been very common, and the majority of my offspring will have teeth or a single
spike, all of my breeders have teeth and spikes in their mouth, some as many as six, teeth/spikes is actually what i bred for originally, and i always look for
abnormalities with their mouths, if i noticed a underbite or anything wrong with her before selling i woulnt have sold, i actually have a tank dedicated to
bad offspring, so i can learn from this, hybrids will always have at least one fry with a abnormality, and we always look for these and try to pull them
does her mouth effect her in any way? These guys can be very tough and will fight through any defect or injury withouth losing their appetite, all of my
flowerhorns are crazy when it comes to food, and when young they feed four times a day here, a mix of pellet, bloodworm, brine and spiralina flake,
