convict/ flowerhorn pics

i sold the fish to hotfishgirls. the ladies should have pics. I'll PM them and have them post up on this thread
Hi,we will post new pictures today.The flowerhorn/convict cross seems to be a female.How do we know,well she is shacked up with a male firemouth.We put the two in a 30 gallon and the nest building started.It appears that they will most likely lay eggs today.I'll try to get this on film.So the hybrid gets more interesting after this point.The babbies will be flowerhorn,convict,and firemouth.Should make for some interesting fish.we will keep you posted for sure.
here are some pictures of the Firemouth male and his wife half flowerhorn half convict.They started digging nest a few days ago.Can't wait to see these baby's.
when that firemouth gets settled in real well, you'll notice he's blue with a bright red belly... he was the hardest thing to part with
The firemouth is a really nice fish,bump on his head is starting.What were you giving the snook to eat?He is on a hunger strike at the moment.The lima cat is doing great,eating worms like crazy with her 3 inch tsn friend.Let us know if you want some babies.
Finally, an update.First batch was eaten and the second batch just started free swimming,babies everywhere.These will be another hybrid worth growing out.
