as long as the parents are guarding, the fry is mostly safe.
If you put a holey rock in your tank, then enough fry will survive even after parents stop trying to protect them...

im not sure I'd be able to, theyre tiny, I could try and I guess Ill find out if ill be attacked like my other fish are by them lol
