Convict Fry

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i was wondering the same thing. i just had a batch o' fry. i saw my cons spitting food at their fry. when should i start feeding the fry specifically?

As soon as that start to free swim. But, usually 6-8 hours after. its pretty rare if you got all the fry to start to free swim within 4-5 hours of eachother.

Always feed mine crushed up flake. works everytime. i also leave the lights on alot to stimulate algae growth and they love munching on that. its the best for fry that have started swimming.

BABY BRINE SHRIMP... they'll LOVE IT.. and they grow very quickly... but before you sell them that is if your going to try to ween them because if they are only use to the brine shrimp they might not eat anything else at the local lfs in your area which tends to make them die off... which in turn makes them less desireable to the local lfs... so try to ween them after the first week or so onto finely crushed FLAKE!! <3
