thankyou :) i found a thick rubber container in the attic looks like 25 gal. i think i might set it up in that (and reinforce it) and use what i have laying around. I dont want to spend alot of money for something I possible might take down. Anyways the Lfs that i go to only has little convicts for like $2 so I have time to grow them out and upgrade if I like this setup
 
this is a stupid question but do I need a heater in the summer? I live in Florida and the water temp is like 75+ (checked last week when I went waterskiing) Even though this is going in the garage it is pretty warm out there I put a bucket out there last night and checked this morning it was lukewarm, lol im a noob just please dont flame me im just wondering
 
i love those diagrams haha. i would say just check the temp of the pond without the heater and see if you truly need one when its hot out
 
best to have one anyways, even if its fine in summer, but when winter comes around is all.
just my 2c, but then again, i need a heater all year round, i just need to change the temp settings with the seasons.
