I have was looks to be a type of Crytoheros or even perhaps a hybrid. At the LFS she looked almost Sajica with a prominant single bar from dorsal down to belly. Breeding color is solid black lines and bellyhalf of body is all black (like Cyano, Texas cichlid) She paired up with a female that layed eggs for her, didn't know until she, herself, laid eggs and the eggs are now wigglers.

Here are some pics.

OK I think its a Black Convict x HRed Point hybrid. She doesn't have the orange color.

I was going to comment on the lack of orange/red on her sides, there appear to be some scales there that have a faint trace of color but no where near what I have typically seen.

Doesn't look like a standard female BC to me but I'm just guessing.:)

Definitely not, OK I got better pics now.

Wait how did the eggs turn into wrigglers if there was no male to fertilize the eggs? Are there any other cichlids in the tank?

I think I see two different fish pictured - one is a male.

Sorry...I said it on my other post, but a Male Convict paired with her. Here is the link...it is about my current fish roster. http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?516221-What-s-in-my-Tank
