if i may ask why a convict when you could do a cool fish like a firemouth in the same space?

I had a pair of convicts in a 55 gallon and they spawned. I gave away all the babies except one, and I wanted to use the 55 for a single Jack Dempsey. I'm going to put the other 2 convicts into another 55 gallon and the baby con will go into the 20.

cons are cool! I love the fish, my favorite besides the GT! great fish to have!

Yeah i really love the breeding pair, especially the females' orange/pink belly and the colorful fins.

I have female cons with my Male GT and they are really good and active....the blue fins and orange belly really makes them stand out........great fish to keep.........
