as long as you do daily to every other day water change they should be fine for 11 days.

:ROFL: hahaha that's hilarious. I'm at work and everyone is wondering why I just started laughing out loud. You crack me up. He's going to need an awfully long python for those water changes.

So on Wednesday I leave for Germany for 11 days. Right now I have a pair of convicts ( 1 1/2" and 2") and a 3 1/2" convict in a 10 gallon tank. This is only a temporary setup.

The two small convicts first eggs just hatched. They are protective, but if the other one stays in her corner the two little ones don't mind.

I want to move her to avoid any catastrophe while I am gone. I am expecting after a few days she will get hungry and try to eat the fry resulting in serious fighting. Right now I have an empty five gallon tank. I just moved my fish out of that tank to a new tank.

I want to know if my 3 1/2" convict would be okay in this five gallon for 11 days.

I smell Ammonia spikes...........
