Thanks. Unfortunately i dont have a hospital tank... But she is protected from the male now. Would using regular salt affect the fry?

Don't use salt. Fry are very delicate and this may kill them. You really should put here in a hospital tank of some kind so you can treat her properly. If you don't have one a 5gal bucket with an air stone will work. Or you could take the fry out and put them in a small tank or bucket. Whatever way you decide to do it the female should be in slightly salted water (follow the directions on the box) to keep her wounds clean. I'm not a chemical kind of guy but a Melafix treatment couldn't hurt. I can't speak for the product, I've never used it myself but it seems quite popular around here.

Good luck. If you need anymore help don't hesitate to ask. ;)

I know! Its unfortunate. and why is her egg tube is out?!?? is she about to lay eggs again?

That could be. However she's in no condition to look after eggs right now. Are you sure its the egg tube and not an internal organ or something else that shouldn't be sticking out? Pics would be great.

The tank has 5 hiding spots but he goes everywhere she goes!
This is not nearly enough. 10 or more would work better. Go to you local dollar store and buy small clay pots. Tip them on there sides and position them facing toward the glass all around the perimeter. The male wont be able to see her. Clay pots provide excellent caves for laying eggs. Fake plants around the pots work good to. Could you give us a pic of your tank setup? I could provide some pointers.;)
