YEAHHH!!! My first fish spawning experience of my life! I have driftwood and paradise rock in my 38 and there are tiny little bunches of brown eggs on the rock!!!

They hatched!! hooray.. they look like tiny little brown tadpoles, is this their egg yolk? What do I feed them at this time?
Congrats!!! After a week they look like sperm cells with goggles..lol. I feed my convict fry crushed cichlid flakes and powdered algae tabs.

Ive breed convicts for feeders for about a year now. I have a monogamous pair of convicts that shell out plenty of fry to keep me in feeders and I have used the following methods to feed them.
1. The parents take care of them, as both male and female are fantastic parents
2. Crushed flake
3. Crushed cichlid gold
4. Bloodworms (frozen)
5. Daphnia (frozen)
6. Brine Shrimp (freeze dried and regular)

I let the parents do their thing until the female lays another batch of eggs. Then I remove the fry...The parents will kill the babies when protecting their eggs(in my experience).
