Convict x jack dempsey breeding ???

I was thinking of breeding my female convict. She has colors and patterns i have not seen before. But i am really not sure what i want to go with. I really haven't seen any other convicts i like so far. If anyone breeds them i would love to look at some pics. If i can find another convict i would like him to have a nice blue background and dark black strips. On a other note can i breed a convict with a jack dempsey? I was thinking of a lightening or cobalt blue if i could.

This is her!!!!:-)

Her stripes are darker and her body is a dark blue/gray now. She has been digging beds all over the tank.

Ignore that last guy he just has no taste in cichlids... My female convict has blue green and red belly, they get it while trying to breed. Not sure if the hybrid is possible check the stickies there is a whole one about what cichlids can and cant crossbreed... Good luck!

I don't know if they can breed or not but if they can I am interested to see what the offspring look like. What is an HRP Joel?

And from what i see they can well time to find a lightening or calbolt blue jack dempsey. If they do breed i will start a new post in the breeding forum. WISH ME LUCK!!!!!!!!
