If it helps any he only has one dark marking it's the last bar at the end of his body but other than that he never goes black anywhere. Also the only colour he ever displays is a turquoise pearl sheen in his fins when he's pissed off or excited.
just took some new pics of the male spirilus or convict cross whatever, they have just spawned AGAIN & the fry are doing well, as are the original babies.
