i have a convict about 2.5 in and it just sits around the tank. it loses its color and then it comes back. its stomach looks a lil fat and its not eating. any thoughts on whats wrong. thank you

Is the Con's poop white and/or stringy? Act abnormally jittery and/or rub against things in the tank as if scratching itself?

It sounds like internal parasites, I have used Jungle brand parasite clear in the past with success
sorry about the convict ... are there other fish in the tank? you might want to pick up some Jungle Parasite Clear and do a course of treatment

It's tablets. You use 1 tablet for every 10 gallons. Stuff works quite well, I've had a lot of success with the Parasite Clear and Fungus Clear in the past for various things.
