Hows it going new to site been in the hobby for 7 years now have 3 tanks my question is just got my daughter tank for her room 29 gallon with a single female convict now started with 3 she brutalized the other 2 anything possible go in there with her new to cichlids I keep piranhas thanks much appreciated!

It'll be tough, but maybe with the right decor you can try another convict. Try and break up lines of sight and allow them places to hide. A pair of females will work better than two males.
I have 1 female Convict in my 125 gallon, even though she is a brute, she does hang out with a Blood Parrot.Which I wouldn't recommend, but if you want something where she can't shred her tank mates, get a female Salvini.Also get a couple of caves and driftwood.
Tank has plenty of rocks and caves along with plants! Doesn't have to be another cichlid in there with her tank just looks empty with a convict.
It'll be hard to find a tankmate for a con in that size tank...anything you add may be a hit or miss except a convict of the opposite sex. You could add another female though, that shouldn't be a problem
So should it just be the Con solo in the tank dont really want to add a male due to their breeding
You could get a male for her. I keep most of my breeding pairs of cons in 29's with good success.
