Sorry for the thread hi-jacking, but if a 10 gallon is enough for one pair, could two pairs be kept in a 20 gallon long?

no convict pairs are agressive during mating.
4 cons in that small of an area would be catastrophic

20 long been working for me for over a year now.

I just added a female with one of my males and they fell in love instantly.

Honestly I wouldn't suggest a breeding pair in a 20 long. It will be fine for now but give it time and eventually they will need a bigger tank, one will be too aggressive for the other.

And a 10 gallon is no way big enough for a breeding pair. Again, its fine now but expect a dead con soon.

a ten would be fine if u put them in there to breed and then move them back to a larger tank, i use a 20 long but still do the same thing, except they go back to seperate tanks (don't need and fry in my other tanks)
