Convicts fallen out of love??

This same thing happened to me with all three of my pairs of convicts when I tried it. Put them all in the 125 gallon and all the pairs rebonded (Regularly breeding). Baby convicts really bring out the red in tinfoil barb fins, lol! There are enough animals in there that no one really gets picked on, and by throwing in 2 of those barnacle colony shells, they use a much smaller breeding area. The Blood Parrots and the Green Severums keep them in check, and usually no eggs survive because of the Synodontis. The group of giant danios makes an excellent distraction for the Syno to slip into the nest and gobble down all the eggs...

they seem to have made up a bit now hopefully wont be long untill some eggs are laid, my main problem was when the fry were free swimming the convicts literally owned the tank bearing in mind i have a 11" bichir 10" oscar 10" synodontis and a 8-9" dempsey the convicts just kicked the **** out of everyone i just had 200 gallons of fear, now the cons have gone everyons fins are starting to regrow which is a result!

all is well once again in convict land the happy couple are back together and have laid eggs

good to hear. Watch out though, when I moved the pairs to smaller tanks they were fine until the eggs hatched. Then for both white pairs the dad turned on the mom and for the black pair the mom (bigger) turned on the dad.
