Convicts gender id

Last two are definitely female. The first is harder to see but l see a little orange on the side so I think female as well

I edited the first pick to make it easier to see, and it could also be a female, but its still not obvious bright scales like the 2nd 2 shots. There also seems to be a slight blotch in the dorsal with color (also an Amatitlania female trait).
A better shot would help, determine .
 
I think I have two males here. No color at 18 mos & no fry. Just nipped tails. These pics are very old.

I moved them both out of the community into a private tank.
They hide all the time now or I would post a new pic.

They seem to have Post Traumatic Net Disorder . . .

Those are convicts, right? I've never kept them. These were free rescue fish, and the owner said they were convicts.
 
Good lookin fellas there. My three girls seem to be doing okay. Occasionally one will hang out up high and another looks as if the male acara got her the first night but has since been okay(3/8 inch semicircle of missing scales on each side) and the dominant one sHes a beast.
