Could a breeding pair of convicts live permanently in a 20g tank?

yeap. I got 2 breeding pairs in a 29gal tank. So one pair would be good.

Rather then making a new thread I figure I'll just ask it here.

Suppose one wanted to use convicts as feeders. How long would it take them to grow out to 1" from birth?

They're fast growers but I dont' know an exact amount of time.

Can anyone give a little more detail on this. Im 2 days away from possibly buying a breeding pair of convicts and I'd like to know before I buy.

should only be about a month or less.

hahah r u sure you want to breed convicts!!! once they start they dont stop! make sure you have the fry tank ready so when they lay those eggs, either u wait until u see them free swimming or you can take the eggs and hatch them on the frys tank. . but you wont be able to catch up with the convicts. once u take the eggs out they'll do it again. . i had a breeding pair in my aro tank a couple of years ago and the aro just ate the frys as a snack lol...
