Convicts in a pond??

I live in san diego too...i'd say wait till spring cuz it can get prettty cold at night especially if u live farther east....but if u have to many convicts i'd love to take some off you hang :naughty:
 
Anything over the mid-60s in water temp will be fine as long as it's not all year long. Many CA's are collected in water in the high 60's to low 70's.

You can just cover the pond if you like with bubble wrap or something similar that lets in light but insulates (greenhouse effect) to keep the temps up.

Let us know how it goes cuz i was think about getting a kiddie pool and setting it up with either convicts or mollies in the summer
