Convicts + tanks x fry = situation

well before you continue.. be 100 percent sure you want convict babies, i have a breeder pair myself... but when those little convicts get bigger they will need alot of space, secondly once parents begin to re spawn they will kill the previous babies seeing them as threats...... so now that there seperated from the babies u shouldnt re introduce them......

Oh my... I learned this the hard way. DO NOT re-introduce. DISASTER will mostlikely strike. Everyone shouldhave been together from day 1. I took my female out for a few days because of quarantine/sickness. I reintroduced and pops went nuts!!! He ended up killing her from stress :'( However they did nothing to the fry. All 40 are still alive. Despite I had taken dad out for a day. Anyway... I don't guarantee YOUR fry/spawn will survive if they've never been intriduced to their parents. Beware. Just keep them separate now. I've heard horror stories of disappearing fry. Mine never did because they were with their parents since day 1. Then mom died.. but by that time.. dad knew what was up.

my plan is to just feed the male to my rhom as soon as I have wigglers. and then to leave the female and the babies in the same tank until I run out. Then go buy a new male and start over.
