convicts: two females?

ok so i traded in one of the females for a male but the problem is im not sure if its a male yet cuz its only 1.5". the female in the tank is chasing the new convict in the tank...is this bad? does this mean its another female?

That is normal breeding signs, cept normally the male chases the female. Just let them settle for a day or two

It is the current con defending its territory against the new addition. As with sexing cons, I sexed my batch of fry at .75"! Very easy. Males lack the orange on thier stomach as opposed to females who have the orange.

If you made the right decision to buy a male (God hope to didnt screw it up again) you should have eggs within a week.
