make sure you feed them a lot so the parents wont eat their fry

Oh the irony i was at my cottage this weekend and was of course unable to feed them when i got back today the eggs were gone and there were no fry i assume they ate em how long do you guys think it'll be before they breed again ?

oh and i saw them swimming together today and to test it out i put in anotehr male with her and watched for about 20 minutes they both kept on chasing him away(together) so it looks like there paired

It won't be long at all before they breed again! Note: my convicts would put their fry in their mouths and spit them out where they wanted them. This was their way of moving them....at first I freaked out thinking they were eating them

it seems like my convicts will start the process again as soon as i remove the fry from the tank. so keep your eyes peeled in the next weekor two. They are a lot quicker at laying more eggs than i originally expected

Any luck yet? Have they laid eggs again? I too have started breeding Con's and was wondering after u remove the fry, how long tell they spawn again?
Hope everything wrks out for u this time.....no vacations...lol
