I have 4 convict cihlids (2 males 2 females) in a 10 gallon tank and the tank has many many many hiding places including plants and a ton of flower pot fragments. Is there anything else I should do to get them to breed or should I just leave them?

No just let them do their thing, they would breed in a mud puddle if given the chance.
You will have to move them to a bigger tank once they grow some though and will probably loss 2 once the first pair forms if they are in anything less then a 55, they are nasty little buggers once they pair up.
