Convicts are cool. I had a breeding pair, but they only lasted a few months I did get one spawn out of them so the babies are doing great. Can't wait to see how they are compared to the parents. The male had a red and torquoise hue in his fins while the female had bright orange/red sides and a yellow hue in her fins.

I love the long flowing fins on the male and intense orange on the female. I want a pair but don't want the fry, how can I "fix" convicts. LOL

dont fix them you got an oscar and a jack dempsey lol

I tried to fix them by keeping two females together...they still laid eggs and kicked the snot outa tankmates. Next time i'll try two males and see.

Btw stunning female convict have any offspring shown colors similar to that?

I don't know what their offspring look like, I don't keep them. I have no desire to be overrun by convicts, lol, so I let the parents care for them as long as they're willing, then pick them off when they're ready for the next batch.
