I would let them with their parents for about 2 weeks, then move them. They should be well fed and have enough meat on them by then.

I might be leaving for Florida soon but idk when so if I can get to the 2 weeks then I will wait but if not then I will do it when I leave. Hopefully they make it this time, Ive breed cons before but never raised up the fry bigger then 1/4" because that was the size for feeders I needed haha
I do believe the eggs are hatching, there are empty shells in the flower pot and the mother and father keep going inside then going to a spot about 10" from teh spot and behind a large rock. Lets hope that the parents didnt eat the babies 
i though a young pare in my 40 gallon ate all there wigglers..i have sand in the tank and a few days later i seen the fry..they moved them allot and covered them in sand most of the time...silly little fish.

No, a different pair started in a 5.5 but there was to much aggression. I have 4 convicts, 2 firemouths, 1 female orangespot sunfish, and 4 senegals poly's in it. Now the 5.5, a 2.5, and a 10 gallon hex are open for fry. I'm determined to get some convicts out of this batch haha.
