i have a 50 gallon up and running thats lightly planted. it has an aquaclear 70 for a filter. i have 5 small convicts in there now that i took out if my 125.can i put more without adding a filter or should i add one. also is it best if they have hiding places. i was thinking of adding like broken clay pots

the convicts are all about 1.5 in. i want to add 10 more. would that be cool or another filter needed. im getting rid of some smaller tanks. thats why im asking

More filtration is always better in my opinion. I would add another filter or two if you can.

15 convicts in a 50 gallon tank will lead to some deaths due to aggression. Also, like Tayler said, once they get big enough to spawn, there will be some violence. I currently have 3 pairs spawning in a 4 foot 55 gallon tank with a bunch of hiding spots. There used to be a few more but they didn't last long once the spawning started. Be ready to move the fish once they get bigger.

dont add any more unless your tank is all male or all female. if you have mixed give it some time an you will have more then enuf convicts that you can handle.
