Im thinking of getting a pair what do i need to have them breed? plz reply
also its a 30 gal tank if it matters

water + flower pot + convict pair = convict babies

flowerpot optional...when they are ready to spawn they will lay eggs in the corner of a bare bottom tank if thats what there in at the time.

Provide a well aquascaped tank with numerous hiding spots. Also get some "dither" or "target" fish such as tiger barbs or giant danios, this way you will get to watch their parenting behavior.
