Convicts???

ok have pictures in my gallery of babies... i had to separate the parents because they were breeding so much...
 
Awsome, I have been looking for pictures of that hybrid. I was thinking about trying it out myself. The pictures are pretty old, got any pics of them as adults?

BTW woodchuck. Male firemouths have longer filiments on their fins and tend to have a bit more color.

I have had convicts before and just bought myself a new pair on Sunday (I missed seeing fish breed and rear fry). Yesterday (Wendsday) I saw that they had eggs. Convicts don't waste time or mess around, they know what they gotta do. The female is not even two full inches and she still attacks my hand. :)
 
Thz. i have been thinking of getting a Firemouth after seeing sum awsume pix of adult ones. Now if i decide to I can have both convictss and hybrids of with a firemouth
 
well i don't have any up to date pictures (sorry) but i did keep them til they were about 8 months old... had one hybrid that took the body shape of the firemouth (daddy) but had the markings of the black convict (mother) which i thought was very cool... gave away all the babies but all the time i had the parents they breed 4 times... glad you guys like the pictures even if they were old...

update---the old picture from jan 2004 was like my 2nd set of babies...
