Or this is one way to make sure you will not get anything for a long time, in addition to the snake getting returned. After all, your mon already denied the request.
Thankfully that won't be an argument.. My friends are not really afraid and are aware of the fact that the snake is in a solid terrarium!
And my parent's friends have absolutely NO right whatsoever to be wandering around in my room alone!
Hello; How about following your parents rules while living under their roof and eating their food. Later on getting what ever you want when you have a place of your own. That has worked well for most of the people I know.
I can only guess at how unplesant life must be for the parents of children that "just do it.. If you ask they'll say no." I knew such people when I was young and such a philosophy left their entire family with lifelong trust issues. Try to imagine that your parents never can fully trust you for the rest of their lives.
Well as I said, I would never just bring the snake home. If I say it's not fair that they won't allow me a reptile, but it would be equally unfair on them to just bring one home without them knowing. But still I will try to convince them!..
If your mum dose not want one I would leave it there. If you really want to try your luck id ask what you can do to prove you will be able to look after a snake.
Snakes can be simple to look after but also very dependent on which snake.
I know ball pythons stay small so its quite safe but some snakes do get very large and require a lot more work, not to mention IF something does go wrong with him I.E you forget to wash your hands after touching rats and pick him up he strikes you. My friend has a olive python and when ever it moves somewhere if you dont move with it you will just fall over and shes not even trying to hurt you.
anyways being a ball python you dont have to worry about this stuff, You could always just buy it keep it in your room and show you can care for it alone without mummy and daddy buying everything etc. that will show your willing to fully support it by yourself.
thats what I did and my mum has a snake phobia but still comes around and looks at them now, she even watches them eat...
