Cool aggresive fish? odballs?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yep its a butti and Bowfin get between 18-24in. in aqaria.

I am not a huge fan of wolf fish. They do alot of laying around other than when they are being fed.

I agree they are not the most active fish. Wolf Fish, Snakeheads, and Bowfin are all pretty similar in their shape and the way they are aggressive. Each have Very sharp teeth and strong jaws. This is why I like them, their are some very aggressive Cichlids out there and they have teeth, but they dont rip fish to shreds like the three jus mentioned, but I am a big fan of Dovii and Umbee...great predators....

Wolf fish remind me of my walleye sometimes they feed in sort of the same way gripping their prey. Their jaws are not near as strong as wolf fish and bowfin but they still have a pretty entertaining way of eating.:headbang2

Never seen a Walleye eat, but the way u mentioned it would definitely get my attention.....LOL....Yeah I would not want to get bit by any of them especially full grown...the teeth on these guys does damage and real quick...LOL...how big is your Walleye...?

I just recently picked them up at an aquarium superstore in ohio they are only about 6 inches long, but do quite the number on rosy reds!!!

I would love to see it....you should post a vid sometime...do walleye come from cold or warm waters....jus asking cuz to many rosy reds and gold fish for wolves and snakeheads isnt good cuz they are from warm waters and rosy reds are a coldwater fish...but every now and then doesnt hurt anything....i bet its a sight to see and the best of luck with them...;)
