What are some cool predatory catfish that can live a full life in a 90( 3 x 2 x 2) gallon tank that can live with my two oscars, any suggestions? Thought about a pim. ornate(?), but they look too much like pictus. Looking for something like a mini TSN, RTC, etc.

Really you can barely keep two oscars in that tank but if you must something like a striped raphael, you don't have room for anything big in a 90g. Could look into a bumble bee cat too.

Cichlaguapote probably meant the Asian Bumble Bee Cat. They get to 8" Maybe a Lima Shovelnose. They get 12" The dimensions of the tank is good, but the company might be harsh.

bumblebee cat would be good. Make sure you get the right one though, there are different similar looking species that differ in length.

I just bought a "torpedo cat" and its downright sharklike !!!!. Its got a tiny mouth and can grab a piece of fish and with its head thrashing rip off edibale chuncks. He grabs large feeders and with two shakes rips em in half. He's very active and i dont believe they grow more than a foot. I have him with a RTC and hybrid RTC/TSN and a bunch of tin foil barbs and he hasnt bothered anyone........YET. He even eats flake food !!!!!

Bad idea. Young cetopsis may be fine in a community setting, but as they grow larger, they will begin to take chunks out of all your fish, especially large pims like your tsn hybrid, which are fair game in their natural habitat.

By the by, bagarius are not suitable tankmates for cichlidae preferring little to no current and warm waters, such as oscars. They are notoriously picky about water conditions and die off like flies if not maintained in a hillstream environment.

You mean my torpedo's gonna drop

I figured he might get nasty as he gets older.

Hopefully my RTC will eat him soon :D

Thanks for the info......
