u'll need to narrow down your question for it to be easier for people to give suggestions.
u have any fish species preference at all?
u want a lot of small fish?
a few large aggressive ones?
a pair?
any opportunity to get a bigger tank in a year or two? this in particular is a priority in the minds of every mfker.

Depending oh what you mean by "medium" I might recommend a few Orangespotted and bluespotted sunfish. Both are easy to keep.
You can also put Killifish, Madtoms and any of the various cyprinids.
Some might put these in the small category.

Well that doesn't leave you with much....grass/redfin pickerel (75 G)? Hard to have anything else with them.
a bullhead cat would work.

1. put a videocamera next to the tank and press record
2. Dress up in a fish costume
3. put goldfish crackers into the tank (preferably without water, cambells tomato soup is ok)
4. jump into the tank and start eating the goldfish crackers.
5. watch video
