When you paint a picture of what you see, as you see it, and everybody else in the room agrees that the colors you used aren't what you thought they were.
In the case of the roses, I had seen some "rose" colored roses that I liked that I wanted to get for a girlfriend but the place I had seen them at ran out. A couple friends and I drove all over town looking for "blue" roses because I was the one who had seen them. No one knew what I was talking about until we finally found some. My friends promptly told me what color they really were and razzed me from then on about it.
