Great, so I guess I bought that half inch discronificator with the leveled edge for nothing? Oh by the way, that hair tonic didnt work either.:grinno: :nilly:
 
just hard to imagine anything workin better than what I got now, 55 gal wet dry, with prefilter, 4 or 5 layers of filter cloth(pillow stuffing) about 30 scrub pads under that, and about 30 gallons of polyethelene strapping tucked under that, all together its cost me under 5 bucks, all i had to buy was the scrub pads.

What do you think? Seems interesting, that calcium one would be handy in marine tanks, but what the heck is the deal with the Far Infrared-Rays?:confused:


If I was betting man, I would wager that this media is made from slag left over during the preciuos metal refining process. I wouldnt touch it with a barge pole. Probably has trace amounts of heavy metals that would be particularly nasty in marine tanks...
