Cool New Internal Power Filter

This is my internal filter that I made from an Old RR Tank. Found the RR on CL and put it on my tank. This filter right here keeps my water CLEAR for weeks and I haven't cleaned it in months. Just simple water change once aweek. Not bad of an idea and only cost me like 20 bucks with a powerhead too!

I made a filter like this in a 20g tank once, using a 1g acrylic tank as the media tank. If you cut slots in the top, you will get better surface skimming. Maybe something to try on this one.

What's a RR tank?

Been wanting to make one of these for a while, I've just been hesitant to make it permanent by siliconing it in. Looks great! How's it handle the load of the fish?
