Only way to fix that is time and water changes. You get used to the look of the tannins, and in some tanks it actually looks nice to have that color of water.
 
Always nice to have clear water, but depending of what you have stocked and your choice in decorations, I like the yellowish tint to give it that Amazon River feel. I have a heavily planted tank with tons of driftwood and always liked the jungle feel of it. Get lots of compliments from guests at the house.

Takes up too much space in that tank. Nice wood though.
 
Purigen will take care of the tannins.
I put some in my tank and it got cleared out all the tannins overnight and it has kept them away since.
Its tiny (like plastic sand), so most bags won't hold it properly but seachem sells 100ml pre-bagged and they also sell "the bag," which is fine enough to hold purigen and is resilient to the bleach recharging process.
