Well, I guess my opinion is different. Is it unethical, yes, but ask yourself this. If the mouse was running around your house, would you kill it, or set it free outside? Is it more humane to let a mouse get it's back broke in a mouse trap, still alive and slowly die, or freeze the mouse and then through it away or feed it to a snake? Would it be more ethical to feed the P's rosies, or goldfish, or even the oscar. You go to the store and see hamsters, buy them for your kids so on so on. In other countries hamster is a delicacy. In SA chinchilla is also food for ppl. Sure it is an un-natural environment we keep fish in, and the best food for them will always be a debate. I prefer prepared foods for health reasons, but how many fiah, shrimp, squid gave their lives being frozen? Would you like to slowly freeze to death, or be shredded in seconds? I would rather die quickly then have time to contemplate what I have done in my life. Also when the mouse was dying, all it thought about was escape, not I am cold, or I am hot...........
And I see someone else has seen FOD
