Cool water fish suggestions.

hi guys


i recently bought two 267 Gallon tanks, one for warmer south Americans, and the other for cooler water fish.

in the warm water i have:
Florida gar
Tiger Shovelnose Cat
RedTail cat
lima shovelnose cat
Peacock Bass
Pacu
Piraiba
and a Silver Arowana

but in the cold water i simply have:

a Goonch Cat

what else would u suggest?

large mouth bass, sunfish and a few i cant think of that are native to my area that live through our winters around here

Well the gar take cool water. Also some of the Gymnogeophagus species like Balzini. Texas cichlids. Native stuff. You could do a monster community with cool water species liek bitterlings, roseline sharks, danios, etc.

i think whatever you put in there, you'll eventually just end up with a fatter goonch.

how about a high-fin shark?

not looking for native texas species unless anyone knows where it is possible to get a paddlefish

I think that even with 2 tanks that your fish are going to need a lot larger tanks. Most of those fish grow really big, The Doctor

^+1 what is the footprint? your rtc and tsn will most likely outgrow it
